About CBIP
The Certification Board For Inspection Personnel (CBIP), established in the early 1980's, is responsible for providing certification for inspection personnel following competency assessment.
CBIP, an independent, non-profit making Incorporated Society, operates as a Worksafe New Zealand recognised Qualification Issuing Agency in accordance with Health and Safety in Employment, Pressure Equipment, Cranes and Passenger Ropeways (PECPR) Regulations 1999.
CBIP certified inspectors perform equipment inspection and non-destructive testing covering a wide range of industrial processing plant and equipment.
CBIP also provides certification of inspection personnel to other industrial sectors not covered by PECPR.
